Ruby Topaz circa 1987 Live at The Last Call MAGIC MOMENTS at The Last Call Saloon MARK: This is pre- Video and second album. We were working out the tunes for the sencond album, CANGE OF FACE, at a club to see what worked

Ruby Topaz circa 1987 Live @ The Last Call Saloon playing 2112 by Rush. MARK: We were playing on an off night and we were working out songs that we were going to record for our new album. Jimmy Z was like my brother. He was my best friend and I wasn't closer to anyone. When Jimmy had a few drinks, he could be VERY funny. He could also be kind of dangerous because you never knew what he'd say. Someone requested 2112 and he wasn't going to stop until I played it. We were an original band and didn't play covers, except for the odd Beatles or Zeppelin tune that we would throw in a gig. We hadn't played 2112 in about 4 years. I had no idea what I was going to sing or play next. I was flying by the seat of my pants. The only thing grounding me was Jamie. He was an amazing drummer and I just locked onto him.
